We have had a pleasant, productive 2007, having registered many new Democrats, initiating our monthly movie night program, and continuing our Breakfast Speaker program. And gains have been made in the development of out data systems, which will help with getting the vote out and with our voter registration efforts.

Not long ago it looked as though the Republicans had a lock on the majority of elected offices. And we have seen the result of their efforts. But things can change if we work hard to get Democrats elected. The time is right. People are sick of the current leadership. 2008 is the year. For the sake of our country I know you will do all you can to help us register voters and get Democrats elected!

We will continue to ask for your help and look forward to your giving us advise and suggestions.

On the evening of January 23, 2008 DORR is hosting a forum for all the Democratic Presidential Candidates (or their representatives). Put a hold on your calendar. It will be at the Sedona Adult Community Center. Start time will be 6:30.

You will receive more notice but please be sure you hold this date now.

Prior to the forum there will be a DORR Board meeting, which you are invited to attend as well. We will have the new Board members we want you to meet.
